I choose to pray for a person rather than react with anger, knowing that their bad behavior is not about me, but about how miserable they apparently are. I choose to walk away, knowing that to react only allows them the satisfaction of getting mad. I choose to avoid said person when possible and only interact with them when they are speaking to me in a kind and professional manner. I choose me and this is healing that place in me where I always try to make everyone like me, at all costs.
