I’m still trying to explain why “ black lives matter” is a valid concern ..( to a friend who argues that it is not an issue ) it’s frustrating me.. my friend sent me a video of Morgan freeman – apparently saying that people are creating the issue ..(?) I’m not really sure, in all honesty – I did not want to watch videos of black people( Morgan freeman + another celebrity ) saying there is not a problem … I got too angry… I continued to debate this, & used examples of racism my own family hAs gone through- including when my dad told me to stop being friends with the black boy down the road -,I was 12, ( we were taught not to talk back or defy my father / who had been a marine ) – I stood my ground then and said no, that I was not raciest. My father let it go…
